By mixing various types of flowers I was able to add dimension to the layout. (You may notice I'm all about dimension! I tend to use that word a lot in regard to my projects.) Here I used a rub-on flower with a punched flower center, a punched flower, and a Prima flower. You can curl the petals of a punched flower to give it more dimension (there's that word again!). I also used pop dots to give the punched flower more height.
I tend to be a journaling minimalist. Here, I journaled around the sides of the photo. And, as I do with all my son's layouts, I had to add the date. Goodness know I will not always remember when I look back at these pages!
On a different note, I spent the day at the Scrapbook Expo in Duluth, GA yesterday. So many exciting products! My girlfriends and I had quite a good time as you can see by all the bags of stuff we managed to buy!
More to come on our adventures at the Scrapbook Expo later in the week...
