I actually did this purse makeover a couple a months ago for a fun spring change up.

I love the length of the shoulder strap.

I love the black and tan colors together (goes with everything).

I love the gathered fabric on the front.

BUT it needed something when spring rolled around.

So I raided my fabric stash and made a fun layered flower to dress my purse up.

I made it a pin so I can take it on and off easily. I can also use it to dress up a denim jacket or t-shirt.

Now this is absolutely my favorite purse!

I love that something so simple can make such a big difference!

How lovely! I have been getting tired of my purse. I might have to do something like this to give it a facelift ;)

The flower makes a huge difference, in a good way. I love it!
