Social Saturday – Showing Off!

Its been a great week at Casa de McDonald!
Until yesterday. Then the sinuses and allergies hit us all.
THEN we found out the hubs actually has STREP! Agh!
Hopefully this will all get back under control soon.
In the meantime, I want to do some showing off of my crafty friends!
~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~
Last weekend we had a baby shower for my friend Amber who is pregnant with twins.
(You might recall these onesies I made for her babies.)
Lynette, our hostess, had the CUTEST fall rosette wreath set up near the front door!

I had to snap a few pictures. Isn’t it adorable?
I love the entire table set up.

And my friend Jennifer made such a fun diaper wreath for the expecting mom! I would not want to take this bad boy apart. It is soooo cute! Don’t you love the two little duckies at the top? Twins! She is so clever!!

I’m showing off myself a bit here, but I can do that, right? Since its my blog? lol!
I mentioned on Facebook a couple of weeks ago of my obsession with Kraft paper.
I used it in my son’s birthday invites, but I’ve been itching to use it as gift wrap!
So I finally got my chance!
I wrapped my baby gift in Kraft paper and played dress up with some paper doilies from the dollar store. SO fun! The flowers are scrapbook rub on and the bunting is scrap scrapbook paper stamped with alpha stamps. The crochet thread is just wound in front and behind the bunting with the ends glued to the paper. Easy peasy.
Lurve it!
I swear as soon as I use up all of the wrapping paper I own for birthdays and Christmas, I am going to start using Kraft paper to wrap EVERYTHING! 🙂

And last but not least…

I want to show off the fun packaging and this amazing crayon and notepad travel holder that my friend Amy made for my son for his birthday! Aren’t they absolutely fantastic! And he loves the crayon holder. All the more because its covered with Thomas!
Thank you, Amy!

Happy weekend, y’all!

Think healthy thought for my little family!
