Social Saturday - Party Planning Time!

It is official party planning time at the McDonald house! 

My "baby" will be 1 at the end of the month. I can barely believe it! 
The last year has gone by so fast! 
He has recently, in his new found freedom of crawling, discovered the play kitchen in his big brother's room.  It was love at first sight! He could sit for hours stirring bowls. 


Back to the party planning... 

I managed to get the invites out last week.

They will make their full debut on Wednesday so be on the lookout! 
I couldn't be more happy with how they turned out. 

I spent hours today going to 7 different stores looking for party supplies. 

I'm trying something new this year...
While we do have a theme (cars & trucks), I am focusing more on our color scheme for decor and food. And let me tell you, it has made this whole process SO MUCH SIMPLER!
I will be doing all my party planning this way from now on.

Over the next month I'll be sharing various bits of prepping for the party up until the final reveal. 
I can't wait!! I have some fun ideas to share with you!
