Pinterest Feature Friday - PFF #46

Hi everyone! I'm Laura, from The Shed blog, and am excited to be the guest poster for this month's Pinterest Feature Friday! A special thanks to MicheleBeverly and Malia for hosting this ongoing series! I adore Pinterest for the inspiration I find there, which is one of the reasons I enjoy this ongoing series: I get to learn about new crafty bloggers and what they enjoy pinning.
Before I get to today's featured pinner, here's just a bit about me.

I love to make things, to garden, to read, to write. I love my cats. I love to laugh. And I love my husband. I also love handmade items – especially earrings and art dolls, Irish Breakfast tea, Victorian images
and ephemera, and really old books. My favorite craft tool is my bone folder. I like to touch and feel handmade and decorative papers like others will touch and feel fine fabrics. I love to make things look
time-worn with distressing and aging. And I love to make things sparkle with glitter. To me, chips and tears are beautiful and only enhance the story behind a vintage find. I think life is definitely too short to hold off pursuing your dreams until “someday” happens. Someday is now. And living your life in the moment should be what everyone strives for.
That being said, sometimes I craft in my pajamas. Sometimes my “bed head” hairstyle is literally natural. I am a work in progress. And I like it that way. Otherwise I would stop being curious and stop wanting to learn. So what is my blog about? All of the above!
If you don't yet follow Colleen Jorgensen on Pinterest, you will want to do so after I share some highlights of her boards with you. Colleen is an artist and painter, a blogger, and she is a crafty blogger's best
friend when it comes to great tips and advice on navigating Google+. If you're not yet familiar with her Google+ series, you need to go directly to her Blog/Social Media tips board.

Colleen's blog is MuralMaker and More, where she shares her love of decorating with paint. Her tutorials are easy to follow, and her instructions are actually quite fun – and funny! - as she tells it like
it is and keeps it real.
On Pinterest, Colleen has 137 boards so far, and 2,735 pins.
In addition to her Blog/Social Media tips board, she has several others filled with eye candy and inspiration!

For example, she has several Christmas boards, including Christmas Crafts:

Another fabulous board is Fabulous Furniture, where Colleen pins inspiring before-and-after DIYs that will have you definitely repinning projects for your own inspiration.

Colleen has a few boards devoted to organization – something all of us crafty types can relate to, am I right?
Here's just one of the boards, simply called Organizing:

As any Pinterest devotee knows, there's inspiration to be found in just about every board a crafty blogger has. Here are just a few of my favorite pins from Colleen's Pinterest boards:

I love all things teal, so this little guy caught my eye:

Colleen shares her own easy-to-follow paint tutorials, including how to paint oak leaves, perfect for the upcoming season:

    1. You're more than welcome, Colleen! I enjoyed browsing through your boards - so much inspiration there, including YOUR own tutorials too! Can you imagine if we COULD make a living as a pinner? At least it would make my time on Pinterest feel less like an addiction and more like a truly valuable way to spend my time. ;)
