With January comes the undeniable need to purge and do some serious organization around the house.
And I've been doing just that the last couple of weeks with my sons' toys!
When My Vinyl Direct contacted me about reviewing some of their product,
I knew I could use it to help with my need to get organized!
My Vinyl Direct specializes in affordable, quality vinyl supplies.
They carry a rainbow of vinyl as well as heat transfer and specialty vinyl and other supplies.
They even carry select die cut machines!
I had my eye on the specialty vinyl, more specifically the adhesive fabric sheets.
But first, let me tell you about where I'm using it.
My bonus room has needed some serious attention for a while now.
After the Christmas toys arrived, I new it was time to purge and get some organization going for the toys.
I wish I had thought to take a true before photo of the space above. Before those storage units were in place it just a blank wall with some small baskets and bins sitting there. The Cubeicals have made such a difference!
But it was one thing to fill those drawers up with toys, but another for us to remember exactly what is in each one!
The tags I made for the drawers using the adhesive fabric sheets make all the difference for us to find what we're looking for (and putting it away!).
So let's talk about how I made the tags.
The adhesive fabric sheets can be printed on with an inkjet printer and cut with a die cut machine.
I created the tags in the Silhouette Image Library software then printed them out in my inkjet printer.
The sheets ran through the printer perfectly and dried almost instantly. No smudging!
They kept the true color of the designs and came out bright and vivid.
My Silhouette easily cut out all of the tags.
Next I just had to peel off the backing and stick the tags to the appropriate drawers.
The boys are able to easily identify what is in each drawer before they open it,
and I'm happy to have some new toy organization for the bonus room!
Oh, and those colorful oval tags?
I have one of those Cubeicals and drawers next to my craft desk, and I'm going to have some of my own crafty organization going on. Once I decide what is going in each drawer, I can write it on the cute little tags.
I think my next order of business will be to use some of the chalkboard vinyl from My Vinyl Direct to make some family rules (or brother rules!) for the wall over the new storage!

I would love the "Fallin' for You" pack. I am working on a small wall right now and want to have vinyl lettering up that says "LIVING WATER". These words would go between the crucifix and a canvas print we just had made of a picture of flowing water that was in our Christmas Musical at church. Hard to describe, I guess, but those colors would be perfect for that spot.
