Valentine’s Day Washi Tape Heart Art {Lifestyle Crafts}

January 21, 2013 By Michele McDonald 34 Comments

I want to share an innovative craft product today and show you how I used it to make this fun
washi tape heart art for a simply Valentine’s Day craft!

Lifestyle Crafts has come up with such a fun idea!
I know you love washi tape, so how much would you love an entire sheet of washi?
These sheets measure 6″x12″, come in sets of 5 different patterns, and can be cut to design with scissors or your die cut machine. Speaking of die cut machine… they also have a set of dies to use with the washi sheets!
The washi sheets are called (appropriately enough) Shape ‘N Tape, and
the die kit is called the Tape It Kit Die.

You use the dies and Shape ‘N Tape in your die cut machine just as you would any other dies and paper.

The heart die in the kit was perfect for making some washi tape art for Valentine’s Day!
I simply cut 15 hearts and applied them to regular white cardstock.

A little bling and this art is ready to display in a frame for the big day of love!

I also used the Shape ‘N Tape to help embellish a scrapbook layout.
They are the perfect accents!
There are 12 different pieces of washi on this layout. Can you spot them all? ๐Ÿ™‚

Imagine entire sheets of washi just waiting to be utilized in a crafty way!

You can find all of the Shape ‘N Tape here as well as the Tape It Kit Die.

From now until January 27th you can use promo code SCRAP to receive
50% off everything on the Lifestyle Crafts website!

I just bought some washi tape for the first time and was trying to figure out what to do with it. I’m so not crafty. Love your valentine’s idea. Saw your heart art on Flamingo Toes. Would love for you to share on Thursdays Treasures http://fooddonelight.com/thursdays-treasures-week-70/
