Top 10 Projects of 2013!

Hello, friends! I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!
At the end of the year I like to do a quick wrap up of some of my favorite projects from the last 12 months.
And that’s just what I have with you today!
So, in no particular order…
Burlap+Moss+Spring+Wreath+1
Quite possibly my favorite wreath to date. I think its the simplicity that really does it for me, but I also love how the yellow burlap pops off of the mossy green!

Cars+Birthday+Party+7
I love throwing birthday parties for my boys, and this cake for my 2 year old’s party really stole the show! Everyone thought the stadium wasn’t edible because it was silver. Be sure to see how I made it!

chalkboard vinyl skyline
We spent a lot of the first half of the year giving my now 5 year old a bedroom makeover. Touches like this skyline really make his room unique and fun!

DIY Flag Planter 2
This is the first planter that my husband and I built together. I don’t think I’ll ever purchase one again!
And I love that I can customize the look with paint or stain.

glitter+chalk+valentines+1
If I make a project that makes my boys happy, then I am the happiest mommy on Earth. Both of my boys loved handing out these chalk Valentines to their friends!

how to make tire swing
A big highlight of our summer was pushing the boys on the tire swing. They could.not.get.enough.
Check out the tutorial and see how easy this DIY really is!

indoor outdoor scavenger hunt
This scavenger hunt was SUCH a big hit with my boys! I actually need to print new cards because they wore the old ones out. I think we did weekly hunts all summer.

Nautical+Knot+Necklace+1
Back in February I co-hosted a jewelry week with my gal Bev at Flamingo Toes. This was my favorite piece I made that week! Click through and see Bev’s beautiful bracelet.

PICT4914
I can’t leave out my first ever sewing project! And not only that, but my little guys love wearing their dinosaur jackets. Now that makes me a happy mama.

scalloped dahlia pillow
I have been wanting to make a dahlia pillow for ages. And when I finally did and realized how simple it really was… let’s just say there will be more in the future. MANY more!
Happy 2013 2014, y’all!

Ha!!! Its takes me about 3 months to adjust to writing a new year, Gail. I can't wait to see your round up! I know you've made some amazing things this year, despite the back problems. You are a wonder woman! :)
