You can print these invitations at home! Find them in my Etsy shop. There is a girl’s version, too!
Over the weekend we celebrated my youngest son’s (my BABY’s!!) 4th birthday! This little guy is all about the Legos and, in particular, the Lego Superheroes. So I made an invitation for him that represented all of his favorite characters!
The invitations are 5×7 and I mailed them out in red envelopes. They have a fun comic-style blue star burst background, and a cool city skyline along the bottom of the invite. The superheroes include Superman, Flash, Hulk, Iron Man, Wolverine, Batman, Spider-Man, Thor, and Captain America.
To complete the “Lego” look of the invite, I made the top look like bricks. And to make it even more realistic, I trimmed out the bricks with a combo of scissors and an X-acto knife. It may sound tedious, but it was actually super easy, and I love how they turned out!
You definitely don’t have to trim out the bricks. It completely optional! But it does give it that extra touch that I like for all of my invitations to have.
On Wednesday I will be sharing all of the details of the Lego Superhero birthday party! If you want sneak peeks, be sure to check out my Instagram and Facebook pages.
These are awesome! I love the little brick cut outs at the top!! You are an epic invitation maker! 🙂
