Not sure if it's the brand of melting chocolate Inised or what but I couldn't get them to be smooth. Any suggestions? We're in Hawaii so it's hard to find ANYTHING here!!

I have found the adding the TINIEST bit of cooking oil to to the melted chocolate can smooth it out if you are having issues with it. I was afraid it would effect the taste, but it does not. :)

I tried this but the edible marker stopped working after a few lines because the melted chocolate keeps rubbing off, even after being chilled. Suggestions?

The chocolate definitely needs to be as cold as possible to work. Keep a paper towel handy to dab off any condensation that builds up on the chocolate as it warms. Also, try wiping the marker on the paper towel periodically to keep the ink flowing well.
