Giant tinsel garland make a fantastic vintage-looking wreath! Add vintage ornaments to complete the look. You know when you have an idea for a project in your head, and you hope it comes out just half as good as you picture it? This one knocked it out of the park! Photos truly can’t even do this vintage tinsel wreath justice. It is so amazing in person! All the elements it took to put it together meshed so well. Let me show how inspiration for this wreath began…

Giant tinsel garland make a fantastic vintage-looking wreath! Add vintage ornaments to complete the look.I found these amazing vintage ornaments at an antique store a couple of weeks ago. How fun are they? And I love the nontraditional pink. It just adds to their vintage flair!

I found the smaller round one first, then stumbled across the larger one. After much inner debate (the larger one was a tad more than I wanted to pay) I decided I would hate myself if I didn’t get the big one as well (they match for crying out loud!) and then I needed a third. Because everything is better in 3’s, right? So the little tree ornament came home with me, too.

I did not have a specific place in mind for these beauties to go, and I wanted them to stand out in their vintages awesomeness so I didn’t want to add them to my tree. So I decided to center a wreath around them!

The ends of the bows are too close together to work for my purposes so I removed them from the back of the bow and added a new hole in them. The new hole will be threaded on the chenille stem holding the bow together rather than the one above it.

The oversized tinsel really worked out as a fun accent to show off the vintage Christmas ornaments! And it sparkles so much in the light. I am so excited to add this to my Christmas decor this year!
