I have been looking literally for years (nearly 7 to be exact) for the perfect clock for my kitchen. I refuse to settle! And I think I’ve finally found the one for me!

Isn’t she a beauty? Too bad she has a $129 price tag to go with her.
I’m determined to figure out a way to knock this clock off. But I’m stumped on the domed area for the numbers.
Any ideas?

How about some roof flashing? It is pretty maleable for being tin. And it comes in huge rolls. Cut the shapes out & sort of emboss the center with something large & round...kinda like you recently did with the metal look paper.
Paint it white and use your Silhouette for everything else. It looks like they are tack welded, but I imagine you could use weld-putty on the back? Or even attach them to a round wood piece?
Have fun! It's very cute!

You could use poster board, (it's sort of shiny like that too) it would bend like that. you could do vinyl lettering for the numbers (probably even paint) and rub some brownish paint on the top to give it that rustic look.

I love that clock too! I'm thinking it looks like pieces of paper plate with some thing under them to stiffen them up? Paint it up and distress it a bit and voila, beautiful clock!

LOVE that clock!!What about the large vinyl blinds - the vertical ones that hang from a top rod? Those are curved like that and you could cut out your shapes easily from probably just one blind. Maybe they'd have them at the thrift store? Or someone you know maybe has a spare one? I'm pretty sure they come with a few spares in each set. ;)Just a thought.

Aw...the first two people had the same idea I had. Maybe you could paint the steamer pieces white and also decoupage some white paper with numbers on them???You're right though, this is an awesome clock. : )M.L.
