The Lovely Francyne

January 20, 2011 By: Michele McDonald4 Comments

I received an email the other day from a lovely Scrap Shoppe reader named Francyne, and I want to share a little about her with you!
I’m pretty sure she was drawn to my blog (via her daughter) because of this post about my football inspired necklace.
What do you think? Does she look like a UT football fan?  🙂
She actually made the necklace she is wearing fom organza ribbon and oversized pearls.
I love it!
But she’s not just any UT fan, she is quite possibly the UT fan, because she lives in Florida and treks some 600 miles to Tennessee to attend the football games!
Francyne told me she was interested in my foam Christmas tree and shared the above lovelies she made using shells, sand dollars, and starfish from a nearby beach. Aren’t they stunning? I think they are the perfect Christmas accessory for anyone who lives near or on the coast!
She made several of these and sold them at her church bazaar. Apparently they sold out quickly (imagine that!), but she wasn’t there to see her seashell trees go off to their new happy homes.
Why?
Because she was in TN at a football game.  😉
Thanks so much for contacting me, Francyne! Its been a real pleasure getting to know you!

Don’t you just love it when others are inspired by something you have created? I think the Shell trees are an adorable idea and she is a very dedicated UT fan 🙂
