Typography Adult Coloring Sheets

This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group® and Prismacolor, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #relaxandcolor  http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV
Typography Adult Coloring Sheets - great therapy for adults and can be framed for home decor use! #relaxandcolor #coloringwithMichaels
I am so late to game when it comes to adult coloring sheets! I’ve seen a lot of the adult coloring books around, but didn’t purchase one until Christmas as a gift for my mom. Coincidentally, she bought the exact same one for me!

They really are a lot of fun and a great way to wind down and let your mind relax. I just wished I could do something with the sheet when I was done with it. So I decided to do something about that and created some special Typography Adult Coloring Sheets that can double as home decor once you’re finished coloring them! And to color them, I rely on my Prismacolor Premier Color Pencils from Michaels.

Typography Adult Coloring Sheets - great therapy for adults and can be framed for home decor use! #relaxandcolor #coloringwithMichaelsI designed 3 typography coloring sheets. They are available in PDF format for easy printing. The prints are 8×10 so they can be trimmed down and framed after coloring!

Typography Adult Coloring Sheets - great therapy for adults and can be framed for home decor use! #relaxandcolor #coloringwithMichaelsI purchased individual Prismacolor Premier Color Pencils so I could get the exact colors I wanted for the color schemes for each coloring sheet.

I read a tip about putting new color pencils in the freezer before sharpening them so I tried it out. It worked like a charm! I didn’t have any problems with breaking while sharpening.

Typography Adult Coloring Sheets - great therapy for adults and can be framed for home decor use! #relaxandcolor #coloringwithMichaelsI think this Shine coloring sheet may be my favorite. I used Black, Spanish Orange, Bronze, Aquamarine, Carmine Red, and Grass Green. I love that these color pencils are soft and just by applying or releasing pressure can make big changes in the color on the paper. The Bronze also has a great shine to it making it stand out on a sheet.

Won’t this look pretty in a frame on a gallery wall??

Can I just telling you how fun coloring that doily bunting was?? I think we forget as adults how therapeutic coloring can be!

Typography Adult Coloring Sheets - great therapy for adults and can be framed for home decor use! #relaxandcolor #coloringwithMichaelsFor the Awesome coloring sheet I used only Indigo Blue and Silver. Like the Bronze, the Silver has a fun shine that helps the words jump off of the sheet. These colors match my living room and will look great hanging on the wall!

Typography Adult Coloring Sheets - great therapy for adults and can be framed for home decor use! #relaxandcolor #coloringwithMichaelsIf you have yet to try adult coloring, I strongly recommend it! And if you feel like you should be able to do something with your coloring sheet when done (show it off!) then I highly recommend these typography coloring sheets.

And, of course when it comes to the actual coloring, I definitely recommend the Prismacolor Premier Color Pencils. I’ll be adding more colors to my collection soon. You can find them sold as sets or individually at your local Michaels stores.

Love these! I recently started coloring after I got an adult book for Christmas, so I'd love to try these out. They would look fab in my daughter's room! <3 Pinning, stumbling and tweeting this post. Happy Wednesday!

I haven't tried adult coloring yet, but these look really great! Truth is I'm super scared to start because it looks so addictive! Thanks for sharing!
