Floral Paper Eggs

DIY Vintage-Style Paper Easter Eggs - these are SOOOOO easy to make!!You guys are NOT going to believe how easy this little Easter craft project is! And I’ll have you running to the scrapbook aisles of your local craft store. Even if you’re not a scrapbooker!!

These little paper mache eggs turned out SOO much cuter than I even imaged so I’m super excited to share this simple tutorial with you today. I even made a quick video of the process that you can find at the end of this post.

DIY Vintage-Style Paper Easter Eggs - these are SOOOOO easy to make!!Supplies:
Paper mache eggs
Floral rub-ons

You can find all sorts of rub-ons at your local craft store in the scrapbooking section. Aim for images that are about the same size as your eggs.

I’m not even going to bother painting these eggs because I feel the paper mache lends towards a more vintage look which is just what I am going for.

DIY Vintage-Style Paper Easter Eggs - these are SOOOOO easy to make!!Cut out the rub-on images that you want to use on the egg. Trim it down further as needed. It’s much easier to transfer a small image than a large one.

Use the Popsicle stick that comes with the rub-ons to transfer the image to the egg. Rub firmly.

Once image is applied, go back over it again, rubbing on the plastic sheet, around all of the edges of the rub-on to be sure they are smooth.

Add all images to egg.

DIY Vintage-Style Paper Easter Eggs - these are SOOOOO easy to make!!That’s it! SOOOO simple right??

If you want to see the entire process then check out the quick video tutorial I made.

Those are so pretty and feminine looking Michele! I love that they aren’t real eggs so that you can keep them and reuse them each year. Thanks so much for linking these up to the Bewitchin’ Projects Block Party this week. Hugs, Lisa
