When this month's series was determined to be music themed cut files, I knew immediately that my file was going to be about high school band.
Both of my boys participated in ALL the band things at their school, including concert band, marching band, and winter band.
The marching band and winter band are high competitive with competitions every weekend which means lots of practicing after school which means - band is ALL THE TIME!
And, as a very involved mom, I help with all the things that go along with these band events - including feeding the kids, helping make props, working the concession stand, amongst other things.
To say I have almost as little free time as my kids would not be an understatement.
Of course, it's all worth it because they are doing something they love!
And I know one day it will all be over, and I will miss being able to be so involved in something they love to do so much.
