DIY Confetti Cups are easy to create and make any party a little more fun!
This is a sponsored post on behalf of Expressions Vinyl. As always, all ideas and opinions are my own.
I am loving the confetti glassware trend! It’s been popping up all over the place for a couple of years now. The problem? They aren’t always in the color I want or are kind of expensive (helloooooo, Anthropologie!). So I finally decided to make my own confetti cups and, boy, are these going to be perfect for summer parties!
I used transparent glitter vinyl from Expressions Vinyl and my Silhouette to make these confetti cups, and the glitter… you guys! The glitter! In the light it just sparkles so nicely. It’s dreamy really.

I used transparent glitter vinyl in Apple Green, Sky Blue, Purple, and Magenta. I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out rows of circles on each sheet of vinyl in size ranging from 1/2″ – 1/8″.
For the “glassware” I snagged these clear plastic stemless wine glasses, stemmed glasses, and pitcher at Target. They were super inexpensive and heavy duty. And just waiting to be dressed up!
First, wipe down cups and pitcher with rubbing alcohol to remove any grime and/or fingerprints.
Treat the circles like stickers and peel them off the paper backing one at a time. To apply the circles to the cups, start with the largest size circles. Place them randomly near the base of the cup. Work your way up the cup using smaller and smaller circles as you go keeping the pattern random. Press each circle firmly to the cup as you apply it.
I went about halfway up the cups with the confetti, but you can go as high as you want. You can already see how it sparkles in the light!
Apply the circles to all of the cups and the pitcher. You can see I took the confetti a little higher on the pitcher.
So who is ready to come party with me??
I served up some flavored water in the pitcher and cups to my kiddos. They thought it was fantastic! Everything is more fun to drink in fun cups, right?
And my delicious banana pudding recipe tastes even better served up in a fun confetti cup.
To clean, hand wash only. This banana pudding and water are long since devoured, and I clean all the cups and the pitcher in the sink with a sponge and dish soap. Once they were all dry they looked brand new! The vinyl stuck to the plastic like a charm!
