Have You Heard?Ella Publishing

Do you Twitter? If you do, you know that you never know who is going to decide to *follow* you. Having a Twitter account for my scrapbook business, I tend to get other scrapbook businesses following me. I haven’t yet figured out how they found me, but I was intrigued by one company that started following me a couple of weeks ago. So intrigued that I decided to Google them and see what more info I could find. Not much out there. Their Twitter updates were somewhat elusive, their website even more so. Finally, they were interviewed by The Scrap Review, and I was able to garner much more information!

So let me introduce you to Ella Publishing! They are an up and coming, not yet off the ground scrapbook e-publisher. By e-publisher I mean they will provide e-books and e-zines for scrapbookers. Here is the description they have on their website.

You’ll love our FREE monthly eZine and our innovative eBooks, which are authored by scrapbooking geniuses of all stripes and designed by the great Cathy Zielske. Entertainment, inspirations, and education – it’s all right here.

Basically the e-books are mini tutorials written by well known scrapbookers. In their interview with The Scrap Review, the President, Angie Lucas and the CEO, Lain Ehman also mention that anyone could be an author of an instructional e-book. Even you!

Each e-book is expected to cost ~$4.99 and be anywhere from 20-30 pages in length. After purchasing an e-book, download it and print it straight from your computer. Why is this better than buying a scrapbook magazine in the store? Every page of these e-books is informative (read: NO ADS!!!!).

For complete interview information from Ella Publishing, visit The Scrap Review’s blog. And look for Ella to make her formal appearance at the end of August!
