Simple Feather Place Settings for a fun New Year's Eve dinner party - easy to make and so fun for a roaring 20's party!Using an X-acto knife or scissors, cut 4-5″ long feather shapes out of white cardstock. I did not use a template for this since I wanted each feather to be unique. Use precision scissors to cut the individual feathers on the cardstock shape. Finally, paint the feathers in your party colors, in my case Pearl White, Pearl Black, and Royal Ruby. As indicated in the names, the colors have a pearlescent sheen to them give the paper a nice shine. One coat of paint front and back will work perfectly.

Add decorative art deco accents to the feathers with the Dazzling Metallics Gold Writer.

You can easily whip up a bunch of these feathers in no time flat! The drying time on the paper is even very quick. These are great to make ahead and add names later when you know exactly who is coming over!
