Today’s Tried it Tuesday recipe is one I had pinned for ages and ages before I finally convinced myself to try it. It’s my absolute FAVORITE fair food! So why did I take so long to give it a go? I think I was afraid it not would live up to my fair food standards. And it seemed like it could possibly be tricky to make. Turns out… neither of those two ideas held up!
This Classic Corn Dogs recipe from none other than The Pioneer Woman herself is sheer fair food perfection! The batter recipe makes a deliciously crunchy coating over the hot dog. She also includes making fried cheese on a stick with this recipe, and we tried that, too. SUPER delicious! Be aware this recipe says it will serve 18. You may want to half it or even quarter it!!
