So you may or may not know, but the first 5 months of the year my family spent living in a construction zone! After living in our home for 12 years, we finally decided to redo our kitchen. We’d talked about it for several years. Our original eat in kitchen was fairly tiny for our growing family. We had no pantry (no pantry, people!) and little counter or cabinet space.
Since I won’t be sharing all of our makeover details on the blog until at least January (hello, holiday crafts!!) I gave a little tour of our space on Facebook. If you want a peek and some details without waiting until next year you can watch the video. You can still leave comments on it, if you have any questions I will do my best to answer them.

We definitely have a farmhouse vibe going, and I’m absolutely obsessed with it. I feel like that look is timeless and will not go out of style. We have a farm that’s been in my family for generations in East Tennessee, and I spent many a summer playing on the land and in the farmhouse. I love how much this reminds me of that, and bringing in pieces of the farm into these spaces really make it feel like home.

We’re in the process of giving our home a more farmhouse type feel as well. I can’t wait until everything is done. Your kitchen looks absolutely beautiful!!
