Star Wars Darth Vader Birthday Invitation

This Star Wars birthday invitation in the shape of Darth Vader's head was a huge hit with my Star Wars-loving birthday boy!

Over the weekend we celebrated my oldest's 7th birthday!

I cannot even believe he is getting so big. Is that even allowed??

Surely he is supposed to stay little a while longer.

Anyway, he and his little brother are HUGE Lego and Star Wars fans, and usually the lines between those two things is pretty blurred.

So we just had to throw a Lego Star Wars birthday party!

Today I'm showing off the invitation I designed, and Wednesday I will share all the deets of the Star Wars party.

I love these invitations so much! I always strive to make my invites different in some way so they aren't just your standard 5x7 birthday party invitations. So these can be cut out in the shape of Darth Vader's head! Fun, right??

I cut out 20 invites in about 15 minutes. It's a pretty simple shape so it goes quickly. And I love the black and white. It makes the colored light sabers Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker are holding stand out all the more!

These fit perfectly in 5x7 envelopes. And, as always, I print all my invites out on heavy duty cardstock (at least 80 lb.).

These invitations were a big hit with the birthday boy! And I can't wait to share all of the details of the party with you. We had so much fun!
