The living room makeover that is.
I finally buckled down and purchased some paint over the weekend! W00T!
Well, part of it anyway…
I’ve decided to go two-toned on the walls: dark gray on the bottom, light gray on the top.
With some chair rail dividing the two.
The dark gray is HERE!! I’m still debating on the light gray.
You know how it goes.
But not long after all of this painting gets done it will be time for some furniture shopping.
Our 10 year old furniture is not only the wrong color for the room, but its worn and tired.
It’s perfect for a college apartment at this point.

Sofa # 4 is totally my favorite. I love the chesterfield design and plush cushion seating. It give the sofa a modern and cozy feeling.

I just bought a new sofa and loveseat. We wanted a sectional, but couldn't find one we liked. Then, we found our set...gray leather with matching red leather chair & ottoman. After 10 years with the same couches, it is great to have new ones. Besides, we are giving my old ones to my daughter for her new apartment.

I have #4 and absolutely love it! In fact, we have two. Tufted sofas are my favorite, especially with kids -- no loose pillows to constantly rearrange and fluff!

Ooooh. I love all of these!! We have some seriously similar taste. :) I am in the market for a new sofa too. The tufted styles keep calling my name. I cannot wait to see what you choose! :)
