Boxwood Easter Wreath

Dress up a boxwood wreath with an Easter figurine to celebrate the holiday!

Dress up a boxwood wreath with an Easter figurine to celebrate the holiday! Two of the most trendy wreaths right now are boxwood and magnolia. Unfortunately they are both pretty pricey. Unless you go faux,  but that is what I would prefer to use anyway.

I’m in need of some new Easter decor and knew a boxwood wreath would be a great way to bring some green indoors. I would just need to dress it up to make it festive for Easter!

Supplies:
Faux boxwood wreath
Easter figurine
Green floral wire
White paint

Dress up a boxwood wreath with an Easter figurine to celebrate the holiday! The bunny figurine will be attached to the wreath with the floral wire. For this particular figurine, the best place to attach is around their necks. Wrap a wire around each neck and give it a twist in the back. Remove the wire and you will be left with an impression of what part of the wire was around the necks. Paint that part of the wire with the white paint.

Once dry, wrap the wire again around the necks of the bunnies, twisting tightly in the back. The white is more camouflaged than the green. The rest of the green wire will be camouflaged with the boxwood.

Flip the wreath over and hide the floral wire in the greenery of the wreath by moving the branches around.

And one of my favorite things about this wreath? I can easily remove the bunnies and save them for next Easter and attach new things to the boxwood wreath to decorate it for all the seasons and holidays!

Hey Michelle, I love your bunny wreath! The perfect inspiration I need to begin decorating for Easter. (Yes, I'm starting late!) When I saw your wreath, I new I had to click over because it looks like some of my own decor. I have a blog post I'd love to share with you on some of my favorite Resurrection Day decorations. I hope you enjoy it.
