Craft Your Stash | Monthly Challenge
Challenges:

~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~
My girlfriends and I were shopping for craft/scrapbook supplies over the weekend that we don't know when/if we'll ever use. They have a hard time finding the time to craft/scrapbook in their busy lives, and I'm so busy crafting for the blog that I forget to craft for me.
We've decided to hold one another accountable for using our craft/scrapbook supplies by issuing a challenge to one another each month.
So we are starting a
Craft Your Stash
monthly challenge!
And YOU are welcome to join us!
Each month a different type of project will be issued such as
finish a kit
make something from a recycled item
make something from a recycled item
a two page scrapbook layout
a mini album
a mini album
And since we don't all craft with the same media, some months the challenge will be very generic and other months there may two challenges to choose from.
January's challenge is to organize our supplies!
Mostly because there isn't that much left to the month, and we only just came up with this plan this weekend. But also because we need to know what we have on hand to be able to use it in the following challenges!
But this monthly challenge is for everyone, bloggers and non-bloggers alike! Anyone who feels like they need to be held more accountable for the craft stash they have created! Feel free to participate every month or just every month that you feel you can. The more you do, the better you will feel!
This month you will need a before AND after photo to show how you've organized your crafting space.
If you want to join in and have already organized your space, just upload an after photo!
The schedule: challenges for the next month will be issued on the last Tuesday of the month
and previous challenges will be highlighted the first Tuesday of the month.
Upload your photos by Feb. 4th, and I will select some to share on the blog Tuesday, Feb. 7th.
February's challenge will be issued on Tuesday, Jan. 31.
I do hope you'll join us! I think it will be a lot of fun! š

Hi! I've had a crazy two months, so never got around to posting the March challenge, and wasn't able to do the April challenge. However, things have now calmed down and I'm ready for May! What is the challenge this month? I couldn't find it on your blog. Thanks!
Jessica
@marthaonabudget.com (I couldn't find an email address for you on your blog!) YES!!! You can definitely participate! š
Funny thing is....this challenge is one of the reasons I re-organized my studio. (Still organizing parts that aren't done yet) But I am not going to do another post about it...well, maybe not!! lol Also, I don't want to join Flickr. Can I still participate in future challenges?
I really want to join! But I don't want to break the rules (again)!! I already reorganized my craft room this month and recently posted it on my blog. Does that disqualify me or can I still join? I am loving this blog of yours!!
What a FUN challenge! I need to join in.... my stash is overwhelming me and making it hard to just start creating something!
I craft very little, but I have some ideas, and for most of those ideas, I have the supplies. Sitting. Waiting.
Time to do things is hard to find!
I don't want to organize my stash, I want to use it up!
I'm glad I took a "before" picture. I cleaned and organized and rearranged all weekend long. One more weekend and I should be good to go1
I just cleaned up my whole craft desk this weekend...so as long as I don't start any projects today, I can take a nice, organized picture š
This sounds like such a fun idea š Count me in!
I like it; I just re-organized my sewing room last week and this is inspiration for doing the finishing touches!
How fun is that!! I love the challenge idea! I definately need to use up more of my stash! This is great!
I am ON it! Though, I already organized one major thing. Maybe I should put it all back so I can take a before pic! haha!
