I have a confession…
I may be addicted to ribbon!
Honestly, its all over my scrap nook in terrible containers. See?
I hate how I have it stored. I never know what I have without digging through multiple containers. I need help! I need some super duper ribbon storage!
On Sunday, I shared this photo with you from my weekend retreat:
1. ClosetMaid racks – Prairie Paper & Ink (No need for dowel rods -> love that!)
2. Hanging clips – Blisstree.com
3. Hanging ribbon storage cards – Donna Downey
4. Clothespins in glass jars – Prairie Paper & Ink (Color coordinated makes it even better!) {This crafty gal has all kinds of great storage ideas! Be sure and check out the rest of her stamp studio on her blog!}
6. Wire dress form – Donna Downey
7. Converted snap-together box – Rebecca Ludens (Inexpensive boxes with holes punch in them for ribbon to poke through.
8. Slacks hangers – my life in lowercase
9. Converted drawer for ribbon – Blue Cricket Designs
10. Simply Renee Clip It Up ribbon organizer (Store rolls on the top and clip scraps underneath!)
11. Stampin’ Up! ribbon keepers (Available in 3 sizes!)
12. Cropper Hopper tabletop stacking ribbon rack
13. Making Memories storage shelf
14. Clear ribbon box
15. Ribbon Ring
16. Jumbo Pull-Ez ribbon purse (Too messy looking for me, but a great way to store a lot of ribbon in a small space!)
17. Ribbon clips (You get 10 or so for $.99, and they rock! Yes, I have some. 🙂 )
18. Making Memories ribbon storage box
19. Kaisercraft ribbon dispenser (It comes unadorned so you can create it to match your scrap space! And its a great steal at $10.99.)
20. Ribbon cards
Also visit The Domestic Diva for all sorts of fantastic storage ideas for your scraproom (not just ribbon)!
I love all of these ribbon storing ideas! What you need will depend on your scrap space (can you mount things on your walls? Do you have enough tabletop space?). But I’m going to tell you right now, I bought the Simply Renee Clip It Up for ribbon (#10 on the list) yesterday because it was the “steal” of the day over at ScrapbookSteal (it was 50% off!). I can’t wait for it to arrive! I’ll give an update on my ribbon storage when I get it fixed (someday).
So, how do you handle your ribbon storage? I want to know!
