As my youngest son gets older, he comes home from school with more and more artwork. And he is getting prouder and prouder of his creations! He recently came home with several coloring sheets of dinosaurs which are pretty much his favorite creatures EVER. (See these DIY dinosaur jackets and dinosaur birthday party for reference!)
We decided we needed a place to properly show off his coloring other than the fridge, which is getting a little overcrowded. I came up with this fun Clipboard Wall Art to put in his room so that we can easily display several of his creations at a time and change them out very easily.
I searched high and low for white clipboards to use. I wanted something plain and simple that would not take away from the art.
Who knew they would be so hard to find!
I finally found these white acrylic (affiliate link) ones that came in a pack of 3. I needed 4. Go figure! So I bought 2 sets which turned out fine because the extra two have already been claimed by other members of the household.
I used two 3M Command Picture-Hanging Strips (affiliate link) (those little Velcro ones) on the back of each clipboard which made them super easy to hang. I can also easily remove them to change out the artwork then stick them back on the wall.
Follow the directions on the 3M strips to adhere the clipboards to the wall. Add art.
DONE!
I didn’t even bother to do any measurements, just eyeballed the clipboards one at a time to hang them. They can easily be slightly adjusted since the Velcro strips don’t have to match up exactly on the back of the clipboards.
And I love how clean the white looks! Its make the coloring pages really pop!

That's super cute Michele! We're working on something similar for Becka's room - only we're going to hang book cover art. I love the way the white clipboards look with his cute drawings! (and the 3m strips are genius - totally going hang ours that way too!)
