The living room makeover saga continues! We’re finally getting the chair rail up and baseboards “raised.” We’re getting closer to being done! So I feel like we’re at a point where I can hunt for new furniture to add to the room.
I perused Sauder.com for some fun additions and hit the jackpot! I typically shy away from bold bright colors, but I’ve been trying to embrace them more recently. In fact, with our new living room colors being gray, yellow, and navy I’ve been searching high and low for anything yellow to bring into the room. And, I have say, I am in L.O.V.E. with the cart and table I discovered from Sauder!
Finding what you’re looking for on the Sauder website couldn’t be easier. They have multiple ways to search. I began by searching by space and narrowed it down to the living room. Easy, right?
From there you can peruse by coffee tables, bookcases, etc. if you know exactly what you are looking for. I simply perused everything in the living room section until I found something that struck. How gorgeous is this side table? The color is perfect for my living room. I wanted to see more!
Do you see where the arrow is pointing? It tells you what collection the furniture you’re looking at is in. And it’s clickable! I simply clicked on Soft Modern Collection and was instantly taken to more furniture similar to the side table.
Not only do you get to see all of the pieces in the collection, but there are photos of the various pieces in a sample living room setting so you can see how they could be styled. Since styling home decor isn’t necessarily my “thing” I loved being able to see these examples! I also loved seeing more of that beautiful yellow saffron in the collection.
I settled on the side table and a multi-cart and simply added them to my basket and continued on with the checkout process. I promptly received an email with my order confirmation. The very next day I received information that my order had shipped, and I had a tracking number so I knew when to expect my new furniture.
I couldn’t believe how protected the boxes were when they arrived a few days later! All of the corners had extra padding and the entire thing was wrapped in plastic in case they were left to the elements.
I couldn’t wait to start putting the pieces together! My 5 year old and I tackled both of these and were done in 20 minutes, I kid you not! It took longer to get the pieces out of the box and all of their protective padding than to actually put it all together. Each piece of furniture came with all of the accessories and tools needed to put them together as well as clear directions on what should be in each box how to to piece it together. I was a little apprehensive about the table, but it came with the top completely intact; we only had to add the legs!
I have pieced together plenty of furniture in the past and this side table and multi-cart are by far the easiest things I have ever worked with! They were quick to put together and the satisfaction level when complete was very high. I could already see how well the yellow looked paired with my navy and white rug. I couldn’t wait to set them up in my living room!
The yellow saffron is certainly a bold choice for me. But I love how it looks! It’s a great accent piece and definitely helps bring that pop of color I was wanting into the room. The drawer provides extra storage which is always nice to have.
I am loving how the multi-cart looks in my living room! It makes a perfect coffee table for our sectional. And the yellow saffron metal is so industrial and modern and yet still has a touch of a vintage look about it. I also love that the castors make it easy to move about the room as needed.
I have a few more ideas of how I can use each piece of furniture, and I can’t wait to share them with you later on! Now that the side table is here, I’m thinking may serve a new purpose altogether. But you’ll have to wait and see what!
