Quick Hot Cocoa & Sweets Bar

It’s that time of year! That time that you have unexpected guests that pop over during the holidays and have a tendency to give very little notice of their arrival. NOT that you don’t want to see them. I love entertaining as much as the next girl! But I do like to be prepared.

Today I’m going to show you how I stay prepared for those popover visits so that I can enjoy my friends and family and not stress, thanks to SOLO. With SOLO, I am Up for Anything!

With the cooler temperatures, I love to whip up a quick Hot Cocoa & Sweets Bar when I hear that loved ones are on their way. The items I need to put it together are often things I already have on hand, including the SOLO products for serving.

The first thing to do is pick out your favorite sweet treat recipes. For me, I love to keep my favorite boxed mixes in the pantry for just such an occasion. Some brownies, cookies, and our favorite Biscotti and we are all set for the food! SOLO Squared plastic plates are perfect for serving because of their large size.

To make the hot cocoa easy to put together I put all of the cocoa mix in a SOLO Squared plastic cup. I also put other hot chocolate ingredients into more SOLO Squared cups so they are easy to see and use. I love the SOLO Squared cups because the base is actually squared making them less likely to get turned over which is perfect for serving! A pitcher of hot water for the cocoa seals the deal.

I put all of the cocoa ingredients on one of the SOLO Squared plastic plates and used a chalk pen to write directly on the plate what everything is. It’s fun and festive and the pens work great on the plastic!
