Ribbon Storage Ideas

January 26, 2018 By: Michele McDonald3 Comments

Hello everyone! Allison from A Glimpse Inside back again.

Can you believe it is the last Friday of January already?! I sure can’t but since it is Friday, that means it is time for another Must Have Craft Tip!

Must Have Craft Tips & More!
Today I am finishing up our month of craft room storage solutions by sharing ideas to help organize your ribbon.

Keep your ribbon organized!
Raise your hand if you have way too much ribbon than you know what to do with (raising my hand!)?! Seriously, why do I have so much ribbon and WHY do I still buy it?! I have it kinda organized, some on my wall, others stacked on a spice rack, some one a dowel rod, but I would love a better solution to have them all in one place.

I’ve gathered some great ideas that should help you get organized no matter what the size or your ribbon collection.

Use molding to create shelves like Paper, Scissors, and Superheroes

Hanging Ikea wire baskets from Entirely Smitten

Make a ribbon holder using an old Pringles Can from Malo Ustvarjalno
Perfect for smaller ribbon collections.

DIY Ribbon Tabletop Shelf from She’s Kinda Crafty

Mount gutters on the wall to place ribbon inside from Life in the Car Line

Use and old ladder and add dowels for storage from The Daily Marker

Large wall unit with wall mounts and dowels from Southern Hospitality

Small tote ribbon holder from Spunky Junky

Curtain Rod and Curtain Ring Storage from The Creative Homemaker

DIY Paper Towel Holder, Ribbon holder from The Cottage Mama

Have small spools of ribbon? Use old Tic Tac containers to store them! from Craft and Creativity

I hope one of those ways will help you organize your ribbon!

How do you organize your ribbon?

Must Have Craft Tips & More!Stay tuned next month when we begin a whole new topic!

All of these ideas are fun and pretty. I like the ladder! Currently my ribbon is stored in a drawer. I’d never keep it looking so neat and color coordinated but I wish I would! #merrymonday

These are all great ideas! I organized my ribbons by wrapping them around a small piece of cardboard and then securing them with a rubber band. They take up way less space that way! 🙂

So many cute ideas! I had a ribbon rack that my husband made for me and I just loved that I could see all the ribbon I had at a single glance. Sadly, I don’t have room for it now where my crafting stuff was moved to. I have most of my ribbons in jars and just don’t like it nearly as much.
