Creamy Spinach Artichoke Dip {Homemade Christmas Recipes}

December 16, 2011 By Michele McDonald 4 Comments

Our final guest for Homemade Christmas Recipes week is going to allow your sweet tooth to take a much needed break! My friend Alison is here to share a savory appetizer with us!
***
Hello my friends!
My name is Alison, and my little blogging home is called Oopsey Daisy.
I blog about all things creative for home and family.  I love to craft, teach Mommy School to my 2-year-old, and take plenty of pictures along the way!
I am thrilled to be here at one of my favorite places (LOVE The Scrap Shoppe!), celebrating 2 of my favorite things:  Christmas and Food!
Today I have a truly mouthwatering recipe to share with you!

Just a few weeks ago, my sweet friend Sara brought this dip to our dinner party.  It was so delicious that I begged her for the recipe!  My mouth has been watering all day just thinking about this yummyness!
(By the way, if you like this recipe, you can download it at the end of the post, so no need to copy this down!)

Ingredients
1 10-oz. box frozen chopped spinach, thawed
1 14-oz. can artichoke hearts, drained and roughly chopped
1 c. shredded parmesan-romano cheese mix
1/2 c. shredded mozzarella cheese
10 oz. prepared alfredo sauce
1 tsp. minced garlic
4 oz. softened cream cheese
Pepper (optional)
I loved this recipe because it was so easy!
The only ingredient that needed any work was the artichokes.

They just needed a little chopping!

Then dump in all of the other ingredients and mix them up thoroughly.

Spread in an 8×8″ dish.  Then bake in a preheated oven at 350 for 25-30 minutes or until cheese are bubbling and melted.
YUM!!

I could make an entire meal out of this dip….
I love to eat this with bread, chips, and my favorite veggies!

And because it’s the holiday season, I have a gift for you:
This recipe is 100% calorie-free!  🙂
If you would like to download and print a copy of this recipe, just click here.
Thanks so much, Michele, for hosting so much inspiration this Christmas season!
I hope you will join me over at Oopsey Daisy... you are welcome any time!
Have a truly happy holiday season!
