These fancy little ghosties are the perfect mini addition to your Halloween decorations!
I’ve been adding a lot of black and white to my Halloween decor this year.
I’m loving the classic look, and it feels a little more vintage, don’t you think?
My new trio of Fancy Little Ghosties are my latest addition to my growing black and white collection.
FloraCraft® Make It: Fun came out with their Halloween E-Book and challenged their team members to recreate something in it.
It was so hard to choose!
But I ended up selecting the ghost from the Fab-BOO-Lous Felt Friends.
It’s so cute!
But I decided to take my own spin on it and glammed it up a bit.

Making Fancy Little Ghosties
You need three 6″ foam cones.
Cut the tops off 2 1/2″ from the end.
I cut my felt a little differently from the directions in the E-Book.
Instead of a long triangle, I used a circle than I then cut in half. I was able to use felt squares instead of a big piece of felt.
This circle is 9″ and I used a round tray as my template.
Roll the half circle into the shape of a cone and glue the ends in place.
You will also need 2 small foam balls.
Cut them in half.
Paint the rounded side of 3 of the halves black with acrylic paint.
Place a toothpick in the top, and paint it black as well.
Place the 2 1/2″ top of the cone on top of the toothpick and slip a felt cone over the top.
The felt should overlap the foam so it doesn’t show.
I glued black lace along the bottom inside of the felt.
Two round, black rhinestones made the eyes while a square rhinestone glued on askew was the mouth.
Finally, I tied black twine into a bow and glued it to the felt.
I think this trio of fancy little ghosties are a fun little set!
I do love how fancy they are with their rhinestones and lace and cute little bows.
Be sure to check out the Halloween E-Book for lots of fun Halloween craft ideas, complete with full tutorials.
