The weather is finally warming up here after the winter that would never end. And no one is more excited about it than ME! Maybe my boys, but mostly me because I can now send them outside to play. We’ve been couped up for too long!
But sending them outside does have it’s drawbacks. They never want to come back in! Even to eat. And I’m not much in the mood to make big elaborate meals since I want to be outside myself working in my flower gardens.
For quick and easy dinner ideas I turn to Horizon for yummy mealtime solutions that my kids love.
Our favorite quick meal has always been Mac & Cheese. It’s easy to pair up with various side dishes like fresh fruit, applesauce, or yogurt.
Since I can barely get my kids into the house during the warm weather, I lean towards sides that are easy to carry out to the picnic table like Horizon’s mozzarella sticks, yogurt tuberz, and their 1% milk boxes. They also make clean up a breeze!
