When it comes to food I typically stick to 4 categories: American, Italian, Mexican, and fried. Those never fail me! But periodically I branch out and try something new. Most times I am most pleasantly surprised. Occasionally a recipe gets deep-sixed. This recipe was definitely outside my comfort zone. I don’t why exactly, it’s not very exotic, but I am SO glad I gave it a try!

This Sweet Couscous with Nuts & Dried Fruit from the Food Network is a delicious side dish, which could also double as a dessert. I think the couscous was throwing me off being a foreign dish, but the sweetness of the recipe drew me in. This dish has a Moroccan flair, and I could snack on it all day!
