Make this glow in the dark mini cornhole game with glow in the dark vinyl!
This post is sponsored by Expressions Vinyl. As always, all ideas and opinions are my own.
We are on week 4 of summer break!
Have you been trying to keep the kiddos entertained as much as I have?
The struggle is real!
We’ve played a zillion games, made up even more, and have been trying our darnedest to keep things fun.
Our latest bout of fun?
This mini cornhole game we found at Lowe’s!
The boards come in a kit that the kids can put together.
They come with tiny little bean bags and are such a cute set!
The kids can sit in the living room and play with each other.
To up the challenge, we dressed the game up for nighttime play with some glow in the dark adhesive and heat transfer vinyl!
A single set comes with one colored board that can be put together and 4 beanbags.
Everything’s cuter when it’s in miniature form, right?
You do NOT necessarily need a die cut machine to dress up this game.
Cut strips of the glow in the dark adhesive vinyl about 1/4″ wide.
Place them along the edges of the cornhole boards.
I did use my Silhouette to cut these circles and the arrows, but they can be cut by hand as well.
The circle outlines the hole in the board and the arrows and more small strips of vinyl point the way.
My boys are completely Pokémon obsessed so I cut their favorite characters (Pikachu and Evee!) out on the glow in the dark heat transfer vinyl on my Silhouette machine for the bean bags, but you can hand cut basic shapes for them instead.
The bean bags are full of sand so it won’t hurt them to be ironed on.
I also applied the HTV on the front and the back of the bean bags.
They can play at any hour of the day!
Let’s face it, some games are just more fun as glow games!
Give this glow in the dark mini cornhole game a try!

Hey Michelle, what a cute project. I pinned it so I don't forget about it for next summer (when hopefully I will have a finished yard). Thanks for sharing in our Show + Tell Linky. xo Tauni

What a great idea! I wonder if this would transfer well to a regular sized board, maybe with some glow in the dark paint? Sounds like the next project for my hubby...
