Social Saturday - Girlfriends

Today I want to chat a little about girlfriends. You know, those girls that you never can get together with often enough but that you love to be around.
You’ve known them forever (or feel like you have), and you know everything about each other.

I’m lucky that all my best girlfriends live in the same state as me but we’re pretty spread out,

with me being the furthest away.

We make it a point to get together as often as we can but as we get older and our obligations and families grow it gets harder and harder. We’re lucky to all be together 2-3 times a year.

But every winter we all get together with our spouses in the Smoky Mountains for a little R&R (sans kids!).

And our latest fun tradition is doing old time photos together!

We’ve been doing them for several years now and have the best time creating scenarios and dressing up.

This past winter we did the card table scene…

And then they all turned on me.I guess they didn’t like my jokes. 🙂Anyhoo, I thought I would share these fun photos that I know will make me smile for years to come. How often do you get to get together with your best girls?Happy weekend!

Awww - these are soooo fun!! We have some friends from AZ that we love to get together with a few times a year!! Those are definitely my favorite trips!
