Social Saturday - Mile Long Yard Sale!

Happy Saturday!

I hope your weekend is off to a good start.

It's been a long but productive day here.

We started off the morning bright and early by hitting the road and going to a mile long yard sale (an annual event) in a nearby small town.

It.Is.CRAZY!

Nearly everyone on the main road of the town sets up a yard sale in their front yards. Its been going on for years and gets bigger every year. They even have concession stands!

We had the boys all bundled up because it truly feels as though fall has hit. The temps were in the 50's, but it was the breeze that would give you chills.

I think my little baby liked being bundled up like a cocoon.

And I promise all of that stuff is not really piled on his head. Its an optical illusion. There is a little nook in the stroller right above his head where all of that stuff is sitting!

This was our main find today. Did you have a View-Master when you were little? I did and always thought they were a lot of fun. We'll have to find some more slides on Ebay for our little guys to look at.

Also this week I decided to finally do something I'd been putting off for weeks.

Look after myself!

You know how mom always comes last? Yeah, me, too.

I've been battling allergies for about 4 or 5 weeks now and have just been miserable so I took Thursday off work to catch up on sleep and visit a sick clinic. I was prescribed some good drugs that are really helping out, but really its going to be the first frost that does me the most good!

Anyhoo, to make myself feel better I had a little shoe therapy whilst waiting for my prescriptions to be ready.

Cute, eh? And they are all so comfortable!
