Are you ready for another great Pinterest recipe find?
Last week I shared a delicious fish recipe. Today I’m sharing a fish condiment. Not necessarily something you would need for that particular dish, but definitely for any summer fish fries you may be having!
We don’t eat fish super often, not the fried version anyway. And when we do, the kiddos prefer to eat it with ketchup. Even the hubs reaches for the ketchup. Me? I’m all about the tartar sauce!! But since we don’t have fried fish very often and I’m the only one reaching for the tartar sauce, I tend to not keep it on hand. It will just go bad before I can use it up! Solution? Make it from scratch!
I love this tartar sauce recipe at All Recipes. Its super easy to whip up and the ingredients are all things I keep stocked in the kitchen. I can make just as much as a need and not bother with leftovers. I also think it tastes better than store bought! And, of course, I can control how much sodium is going into it.
The only thing I do different than the recipe suggests is to use powdered onion instead of minced. It’s a time saver!
