Today’s Tried it Tuesday recipe is another holiday dessert that I tried last year. I was pleasantly surprised with how simple it turned out to be to make considering it looks a lot harder to pull off. And the taste was spot on, too! It used a flavoring technique I hadn’t tried before.

These Raspberry Poinsettia Blossom Cookies from Pillsbury were so yummy and flavored with… wait for it… gelatin! What a great idea! It also made them smell pretty good, too. I couldn’t find the little yellow sprinkles for the centers of the cookies so I used gold sugar pearls (affiliate link) which worked just as well. I love how festive these cookies are for the holidays, and a different take on your typical Christmas cookie.
