I have another fun and simple non-candy Valentine idea today for your little ones.
When I was little I was obsessed with collecting pencils, and now my 5 year old son does the same thing!
I think most kids go through this phase at some point. So let’s add to their collection this Valentine’s Day!
The Target Dollar Spot strikes again! I found both of these sets of pencils there.
That is 16 pencils (8 perfect for girls and 8 perfect for boys) for $2 and the perfect number for my son’s small class size.
Download and print my “write one” Valentine cards.
Cut out the cards then make a diagonal slit in the white space in two corners of the card. The slits need to be at least 3/4″ long for the pencil to slide through. Gently slip the pencil through the slits.
I found these cute heart straw covers at Hobby Lobby in their Valentines section, $1.99 for 24 of them. They also fit perfectly on pencils and are a great extra touch for these Valentines!
Fun and simple, right? That’s right up my alley!

Super cute Michele!! I love the printables and the little heart toppers - and I need to check the dollar spot more for pencils! Those are fun!
