2012 Halloween Mantel & Decor

Halloween+Mantel+2012+ +1
I want to show of my Halloween decorations today!
Starting with this year's mantel.
I incorporated a lot of the items that I made last year, with a few new ideas and items.
I'm loving my spider web doily bunting draped like this!
And, of course, I'm using my witch silhouette, skull frame, and spider web pumpkin bowl again.
And my favorite part?
The vinyl bats coming out of the fireplace!
I cut a ton of them last year on my Silhouette and stashed away the ones I didn't use.
I think I will be putting them here for years to come!

Working around that television is a tad annoying. All of my decor has to be short to stay out of the way.

But I found some fantastic "short" new decor to incorporate this year!
You probably recognize my faux mercury glass skull.
The silver glitter pumpkin was a Target score.
And that owl...

Oh how I love my new owl!
I found him at Home Goods.
Isn't he perfect?
I love using purple for Halloween.

I always decorate my black hutch for the holidays and this year doesn't vary much from the past except for the addition of the spider webs and black cheesecloth (Dollar Tree!).
And those white votive candles... more on them later this week!
Halloween+Decor+2
I figure once Halloween is over I simply need to remove the webs (and the cheesecloth and banner), and I'll be all set for fall decor!

I put my Halloween lollies on the smaller white hutch and filled my drink dispenser with mini pumpkins. The web is from the Dollar Tree. The spider is from Home Goods.

I decided to display my pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns on the old sewing machine table.
My glitter pumpkins held up great in storage the last year!
I really need to use that technique again!
I spruced up my chalkboard pumpkin topiary by placing some of my glitter glue spider webs between them.

I bought this cherry blossom tree online at Kirkland's earlier in the year for a good price.
And I love it!
So I knew I had to decorate it for Halloween.
Last year I had the foresight to pick up some Halloween ornaments on clearance after the holiday.
I also added all my odd and end decorations to the floating cubbies.

My wicked printable is hanging out with some of my favorite candles.

In the entryway I kept it pretty simple with another Dollar Tree web.
The sign was an after Halloween purchase from Target last year.
The teddy bear witch was my grandmother's.

And my favorite decor in the whole house?
My spooky Halloween centerpiece on the kitchen table.
LOVE IT!!

I don't know what happened to me this year, but all of my decor was up by the first of October.
How about you?
Are you done decorating for Halloween yet?

I link to these fun parties!
